The Saraswati aarti invokes Maa Saraswati — goddess of knowledge, music, learning, and the arts. The five stanzas praise her veena, white sari, swan vehicle, and her role as the source of the Vedas. It is especially sung by students and scholars, on Wednesdays, and during Vasant Panchami (Saraswati Puja).
