हा विधी काय आहे
Maha Mrityunjaya Jaap is the repeated chanting of the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra, a verse of the Rigveda (7.59.12) addressed to Tryambaka, a name of Shiva. A priest repeats it an agreed number of times and often closes with a havan.
याचे आशीर्वाद आणि उद्देश
- The Maha Mrityunjaya mantra is the Rigveda's prayer to Lord Shiva for protection, healing and a long, healthy life.
- Families arrange it for a relative who is unwell, on a birthday, or before a major treatment, and offer it with faith alongside the care of their doctors.
- Shiva is Mrityunjaya, the conqueror of death, and the chanting is offered to receive his grace, courage and peace of mind.
केव्हा केला जातो
- Mondays, Pradosh (the 13th lunar day), Maha Shivratri and the month of Shravan are favoured for Shiva worship.
- Many families also choose a birthday or a day a doctor or astrologer suggests.

सेवेची नेमकी व्याप्ती तपासा.
The temple's own listed Mahamrityunjaya Jap Puja is a large panel package (₹1,00,000, 32 shastris, includes puja thali/dakshina/havan samagri/priest refreshments) — a different scale from a single-priest sankalp booked in a devotee's name. The temple's published details do not confirm a chanting count for this listing; confirm the exact service scope with the temple.
